IBM Corporation has awarded Sinhgad Institute of Technology, Lonavala the Center of Excellence award. It has now set up CoEs in almost every corner of the country. 150 IBM Software Centre of Excellence covering 21 states in more than 100 locations. The IBM Centre of Excellence at Sinhagad Institute of Technology, Lonavala, Maharashtra was inaugurated on 4th August, 2009 by Himanshu Goyal, Country Manager, Career Education, Academic Initiative, Developer Works & Globalization, IBM Software India/South Asia. Mission: to create generations of IT innovators who will take the Indian IT industry into the future. The Academic Initiative team has conducted a Training and Certification camp on DB2/RAD/TDS/RFT/ Lotus/WID.
