7th Alumni Meet held on 27th February 2021 was dream come true for the Alumni Association of SIT. The total number of alumni attended the event were 138. Alumni from each department had a fair and informative discussion with faculties with their expertise. Faculties were enthusiastic to see and know many more things about these eminent alumni. Many alumni opined that the key reason for their success is the platform the institute provided them and the amount of support provided by the management during their study period. Furthermore, alumni after sharing their experiences assured all kinds of help, support, and cooperation for thebetterment of the current students and institute as whole. The alumni were told to fill a feedback form for the betterment of college.

Dr. M.S. Gaikwad, in his welcome address, updated the alumni about the college performance and proactive measures taken in the recent past in interest of the students and welfare of the faculty. He elaborated the alumni with various activities-technical, sports, social. Another speech was given by Vice Principal Prof. Dr. D.D. Choudhry regarding the progress of SIT so far; opined about the need for interaction and involvement of the alumni in departmental strategic plans and overall development of the college. A 10 minute multimedia presentation on ‘Recall Old Days’ was shown displaying the chronicle journey of the alumni of SIT from 2008 to 2020 batch.

Vote of thanks was given by event convener Prof. B. L. Dhote. He thanked the alumni for taking the time to come for the ‘Alumni Meet-2021’ who have made it a memorable one and extended his sincere gratitude to all the beloved alumni. He thanked all heads of departments, committee coordinators, faculty and staff for their continuous support. Lastly, he appreciated and admired the work of the management of SIT for the support and guidance which has made ‘Alumni Meet-2021’ a success.

It was wonderful day 15 th February 2020, a dream come true for the alumni association of SIT. The total number of alumni attended the event were 138.This however, was possible due to proper and effective guidance by our respected Principal Dr. M.S. Gaikwad sir. His approach, direction, and work accountability in all activities motivated us to make the event a great successful one as expressed by all alumni in their feedback. The charming, spectacular and awesome day ended with memories. It was the day full of enjoyment, enthusiasm, sharing and immense pleasure. Event concluded with group photographs and selfies.
