The main motive of this Club is to provide awareness about Social Skill Development. This Club is also support to students to produce not only good engineers but good human beings, also. We believe in and work for holistic development of students and teachers. We strive to achieve this by imbibing a unique value system, transparent work culture, excellent academic and physical environment conducive to learning, creativity and technology transfer.

• To provide students with a technical and social activities evolution issues
• To recognize the individual role in each and every events and execute the same.

The main motive of this guest lecture was to provide awareness about Career Opportunities in Oracle Applications & computer network subject in career field. The guest lecture was taken by experienced persons from industries belonging to computer network field. It was a successful event as 100 students as well as all the teachers marked their presence in it. Our chief guest Dr. Geeta Mandar Mete Vertex IT Services, Pune inaugurated the program .They demonstrated one software that are mostly used in Networking industries. After this guest lecture it is obvious that some of the students have surely changed their thinking of career in networking field.

Hands-On Training On Online Teaching Learning Methodology, was organized by e-SITizen club of SIT, Lonavala for the students as well as the faculty members of the college.

Webinar is organised to support the growth, AV industry needs more players & certified professionals in the market as there is a huge gap. There is scope to represent the global brands; start system integration or design projects. Due to AV & IT convergence there are more career opportunities.

Teachers day and Engineers day celebration was organized by e-SITizen club of SIT, Lonavala for the students as well as the faculty members of the college. It was a successful event as 120 students as well as all the teachers marked their presence in it and enjoyed the celebration. Our chief guest Dr. D. D. Choudhary inaugurated the program .All the subject toppers and departmental toppers were felicitated in the event. Teachers also were appreciated for their achievements . We hope that this type of activity should be carried in future too to keep on encouraging students and teachers for their progress.

The Workshop was taken by experienced persons from industries belonging to Ethical Hacking & Cyber Security field. It was a successful event as 215 students as well as all the teachers marked their presence in it. Our chief guest Mr.Nikhil Shingade Hackbrain info PVT. LTD. Mumbai inaugurated the program .They demonstrated one software that are mostly used in Networking industries. After this Workshop it is obvious that some of the students have surely changed their thinking of career in Cyber Security field.

IEEE Student branch provides opportunities to meet and learn from fellow IEEE student members. Offering programs, activities and professional networking opportunities that build critical skills.   IEEE stands for Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.IEEE is the world’s largest technical professional organization dedicated to advancing technology for the benefits of humanity. Under student chapter different activities coordinated such as workshops, webiinars, Inspirotalks, STTP,FDPs, Conference .Objectives  of this activities to  encouraged students  to develop entrepreneurial qualities and the networking platform consisting of mentors and venture capitalists. Students are able to recognize a business opportunities that fits the individual students.

EEE SIT SB ,Sinhgad Institute of technology well organized event on “Benefits and Opportunities in IEEE” and Student chapter Inauguration for the year 2020-21,22nd August, 2020 The members of IEEE SIT SB and all the dignitaries welcomed the resource person, Dr. D. S. Mantri. He gave us information about the opportunities in IEEE along with the perks of having its membership. He enlightened us about IEEE Xplore, IEEE Spectrum and the conferences which a member of IEEE can attend.

The webinar on Role of Youth in Attaining Atmanirbhar Bharat in Energy was organized for all age groups ,by IEEE SB,SIT Lonavala under the guidance of Prof. Vaishali Baste. Prominent personalities from the energy environment and education provided a lot of information regarding solar usage, world energy scenario, climate changes and a lot. They also helped the audience to upgrade their solar skills.

The IEEE student branch of SIT, Lonavala, organized the solar lamp training and awareness program on 29th Dec2020. This event especially targeted the people living in rural areas. The major objective of program was to train rural people to create their own solar lamps and to spread awareness among the masses about the use and advantages of sustainable resources available. Our chief guests, Dr. Prof. Chanakya Kumar Jha and Mr. Harish Patil addressed the participants about sustainable resources, their advantages and their beneficial uses in day-to-day life. More than 90 people have attended the training and awareness program, which made this event a great success.

The webinar on resume writing, cover letter and interviewing skills was for every willing participant from around the country. It was organized by IEEE student branch, SIT, Lonavala in association with WiseUp Communications under the guidance of Prof. Vaishali Baste. Total number of entries were 350 and more than 200 students attended the webinar. Our chief guest, Ms. Neha Agarwal shared her inspirational life journey and guided the participants well and solved doubts of the participants regarding the topics included.

IEEE SIT SB and Career Counselling Center ,Sinhgad Institute of technology ,Lonavala organized STTP on Statistics for AI &ML under the guidance of Prof.Vaishali Baste,Prof.Mayur Raut ,Prof. Karnekar . Dr.M.S.Gaikwad ,Principal and Dr.D.D.Choudhary were present for inaurgation function and They welocme to participant and resource person and also address the students about new technology.Prominent personalities provided a lot of information regarding AI & ML ,besides all these there were various topics covered by Mr.Hemant kumar B.Mali & Mr.Hannan Stopay Sir. Day-1 there was keynote Session-Intro. to AI & ML by Mr.Hemantkumar sir & Mr.Hannan Stopay Sir. On Day-2 it was about hypothesis tests and statistical tests. On Day-3 the intresting topic was statistical methods and stastical processing by Mr.hannan Satopay Sir and on Day-4 Mr.hannan satopay sir covered the topic on static modeling and atlast vote of thanks was proposed by prof.Ks.karnekar sir .Students found very intresting to learn all of these , they also helped students to upgrade there skills .The speakers also answered the questions and doubts asked by students .

IEEE SIT SB ,Sinhgad Institute of technology well organized event on 12th Sept 2020 on the topic "Anatomy of Patent" in association with IEEE Bombay section..Dignitaries of the webinar were Dr. Sarika Chouhan, Chair ,Student activity committee, Mr.Kiran Talele, Treasurer ,IEEE Bombay section, Dr. M. S. Gaikwad Sir, Principal, Dr. D.D. Chaudhary Sir, Vice Principal and all HOD's,SIT, Lonavala. The members of IEEE SIT SB and all the dignitaries welcomed the resource person in the Webinar, Mr. Kiran Talele. He has published 15 patents and 60+ research papers and is NEN certified mentor for setting up Startup Ventures. He gave us information about what a patent is, how to file a patent and the ethics one should keep in mind while authoring it. At the end of the session, a Question-Answer round was carried out where the doubts of the participants were taken into consideration. Also, he guided the participants with further resources for exploring things about patent. The number of registrations for the Webinar were more than 190 and there were more than 80 attendees who attended the Webinar. It was very successful webinar coordinated by IEEE SIT SB ,SIT Lonavala in association with IEEE Bombay section.

• (TSSC) for the 11 Job roles presently available in Star Scheme of NSDC for conducting the courses.
• Encouraging and motivating the outside Class room studies / Workshops / projects / seminars.
• Multiplying the student base and corporate membership of IETE.

The Vodafone Committee is a project initiated by Sinhgad Institute of Technology, Lonavla to track the latest information of Vodafone Company and accordingly create a vision for students so that the gap between being in a college and working in a company is filled.

Objectives:

Through this club, we’ll be in constant touch with the Vodafone Company.

1. The students will be visiting the Vodafone Company Campus to get to know the actual working of the company.

2. Few sessions will be conducted for SE, TE as well as BE relating to the topics of curriculum.

3. Final year student can grab the opportunity to select their BE Projects and they can try for good sponsored project.

4. In coordination with Vodafone we will arrange seminars, or workshops or contests for all the students.

5. The Company will also look into the research ideas for faculty members and help them along the way.

Business club of SIT is established in the year 2007 by our earlier  Principle Dr. S S Inamdar sir. Previously this activity was conducted centrally by all departments. Afterward  it is transferred to department level from year  2011. The motive of business club is  to create Knowledge sharing platform among students.  Activity mainly focus on third year student so as to prepare them to face placement interviews or to motivate them to become Entrepreneur.  It include Case study on recent technology update , Technical news , Business news and Quiz. Students prepare presentation and present  in front of students

“ World’s Entrepreneur    Day Celebration”

E&TC Business Club & Entrepreneur Development Cell SIT Lonavala had organized an Entrepreneur Day Celebration on 22^nd August 2015 in E&TC Seminar hall. In this event Business plane competition, Poster presentations were organized for students. Total eight Business plane were presented by students which were judged by five judges. Mrs. Shilpa Shinde along with student coordinator organized the activity.

“QUIZE COMPITATION”

Business club of E&TC Department organized an “BUSINESS QUIZ  on 2^nd September 2015 Total thirteen  groups participated . Participation certificates were issued. Mrs. Shilpa Shinde was judged the competition and coordinated whole event .

Blood Donation Camp World Blood Donor Day is celebrated on the 14th of June every year to mark the birth anniversary of Karl Lansteiner who discovered the blood group system.

TEACHER’S DAY CELEBRATION

TEACHER’S DAY celebration was organized on 12^th Sep 2015 by e-SITizen Club for all faculty members of E&TC under the stewardship of Prof. S.K.More. The event was organized in ENTC Department of SIT Lonavala. e-SITizen Club inaugurated ‘PARANGAT 2015’- for felicitation of toppers of E&TC .

Around 80 students along with teachers and dignitaries including Principal, Vice Principal, Head of Department (E&TC) attended this event. Faculty members were awarded with appreciation letter for their excellent results in various subjects. Various Games and Quiz were organized for teachers and students.

Engineers Day Celebration

September 15 is celebrated every year in India as Engineer's Day to commemorate the birthday of the legendary engineer Sir M. Visvesvaraaiyya (1861-1962).Internationally recognized for his genius in harnessing water resources, he was responsible for successful design and construction of several river dams, bridges and implementing irrigation and drinking water schemes all over India.
